My name is Bridgette Goldstein, and I am the founder of this movement dedicated to dismantling Christian Nationalism in America. My journey began when I read The Founding Myth by Andrew Seidel. As I learned about when "In God We Trust" became the official motto of the United States and the implications behind it, I was appalled. It was a wake-up call that ignited my passion for protecting the separation of church and state.
I believe that a healthy democracy thrives on diversity—of thought, belief, and experience. Through educational initiatives, advocacy work, and community engagement, I aim to break the chains of Christian nationalism and foster an inclusive environment where everyone can contribute to the American tapestry.
Beliefs of the church, or any religion, has no place in making laws for any nation.
At Breaking Christian Nationalism, I strive to educate and empower individuals to recognize the dangers of Christian Nationalism and advocate for a pluralistic society that respects the diverse beliefs. My mission is to challenge and change the narrative, ensuring that our founding principles remain intact and that all voices are heard.
I work closely with advocates, groups, and organizations to keep religion and all its forms out of governance. I give lectures and workshops as well educate through this site.
